Versions
What’s new
Wrenn grows slowly and ships things whole. Every version that exists is listed here, newest first, with where it currently is.
The App Store listing isn’t live yet — 1.0 is with Apple for review. Until it clears, the current build is on TestFlight and open to anyone.
1.2.1
Recurring payments
In beta July 2026
1.2.1
Recurring payments
Money that moves on a schedule, recorded without you having to.
- Set the amount, how often, and which day. Wrenn records it from then on — no notification, no confirmation prompt.
- Missed cycles are caught up next time you open the app, each on its own real date rather than one lump.
- Auto-recorded entries are marked in history, and edit or delete like anything you typed in.
- Pause without losing the setup, resume, or delete. Everything running lives in one list.
- Amounts hide under Privacy Mode — on the goal card and across the whole list. What’s scheduled and when stays readable.
- A payment stops itself once the goal is reached, and picks up again if you raise the target.
Also in this release
- Archive is offered on any goal, not only finished ones.
- Deleting a check-in works from the first one, not just past the sixth.
- A check-in with a note on it can be swiped away like any other.
- The full history sheet is now titled History, and opens from the same place.
Fixed
- Face ID lock now covers the whole app. It only locked the dashboard: if you left Wrenn while looking at a goal or in Settings, reopening it went straight back to what was on screen. If you use the lock, this is the reason to update.
- Amounts in euros read like every other currency — €12.4K, not 12,4 k €.
- A goal a month ahead of schedule says “1 month ahead”, not “1 months ahead”.

Privacy
Privacy Mode was already in Wrenn. This release made it something you can actually reach, read, and rely on.
- The Privacy Mode button now sits in the same place on every screen that shows an amount — dashboard, goal card, history, archive. One tap from wherever you are, rather than a switch you have to go and find.
- Hidden amounts now show how far along the goal is, as a percentage, instead of a row of dots. You can still read your progress in public without reading your numbers.
- Privacy Mode holds. Close the app and open it again and amounts stay hidden until you decide otherwise.
- Delete all data, from Settings, behind a typed confirmation — everything gone from the device, with no way to do it by accident.
- Small things around the edges: goal tiles that respond to touch, Settings reachable from the empty state, and a quiet tip on a goal that has no check-ins yet.
- A long history opens and scrolls without hesitation, and every screen holds its shape at the largest text sizes.

1.0
First release
Wrenn as it was first built: goals you define, a check-in that takes three seconds, and an honest picture of the distance between here and there.
- Savings and debt payoff goals — a number, a name, and a date if you want one.
- A dashboard you arrange yourself, as a grid of goal tiles or a plain ledger.
- History, pace, and a projection that reads as an estimate rather than a target.
- Milestones acknowledged quietly, with no confetti.
- Privacy Mode, an optional Face ID lock, home-screen widgets, Spotlight, Handoff, and VoiceOver throughout.
- No account, no onboarding, no analytics. Your numbers stay on your device.
Further out
Version numbers get assigned when a release cuts, not promised in advance, so there’s nothing to list above until it’s built. The directions we’re building toward are on the home page, and a feature request is always welcome at support.
