Versions
What’s new
Wrenn grows slowly and ships things whole. Every version that exists is listed here, newest first, with where it currently is.
1.4.0 is the version on the App Store. If you’d rather run what’s next, 1.5.0 is in beta on TestFlight, open to anyone.

Where your money is held

1.5.0
Where your money is held
Name the account a goal’s money sits in, and see it on every check-in. Still in beta and still growing — this is what the current build carries.
- A goal can name the account it’s held at.
- Check-ins follow that account, and you can send one somewhere else.
- Goals you already had can take on an account, and their earlier entries with it.
- Accounts are renamed and removed under Settings.
- Wrenn never connects to an account — the name is a label, nothing more.
- A check-in can be edited from a ⋯ on its row, rather than deleted and typed again.
1.4.0
Larger text and totals
On the App Store August 2026
1.4.0
Larger text and totals
Every screen holds its shape at the largest text sizes, and the totals above your goals are easier to read.
- The totals are now a dial: one currency at a time, swiped through.
- Every currency on your board is summarised, not only the ones holding two goals of a kind.
- Pace says it’s coming, and keeps saying so until it arrives — not only before your first check-in.
- The amount on a goal card shows that it can be tapped.
- “Pace and timeline” opens by itself only on a goal with no check-ins yet.
Fixed
- Screens hold together at the largest text sizes — history rows, the ledger, the pace panel and the chart’s labels no longer overlap or clip.
- Icons beside text grow with it, rather than staying small next to a large line.
- Amounts in history no longer break across two lines mid-number.
- Changing a check-in’s date keeps the amount you’d entered instead of clearing it.
- Opening the note on a check-in puts the cursor in it.
- Shortened amounts on the dashboard carry another digit, so two close balances no longer read as the same number.
- VoiceOver finds one Dismiss during a check-in, not two.
- The debt ring in the totals stays legible in dark mode.

The card release

1.3.0
The card release
What happens if the pace changes, and where you stand overall.
- “Pace and timeline” on a goal card: move a monthly figure and see when you’d arrive.
- Totals above your goals, folded away until you open them.
- A goal’s trend line carries on, faintly, to where it’s heading.
- Amounts group their digits as you type, in your device’s format.
- Pace now waits for four check-ins across a month before it appears.
Fixed
- The tip on a new goal no longer mentions a projection it can’t yet show.
- A goal chart’s side figures no longer sit under the box that names a check-in.
- Large amounts in that box are no longer cut off at bigger text sizes.
- A chart’s side figures round to fit, and say which currency they’re in.
- Check-in rows in History no longer sit on a lighter strip.
1.2.2
Recurring payments
Superseded August 2026
1.2.2
Recurring payments
Money that moves on a schedule, recorded without you having to.
- Set the amount, how often, and which day — Wrenn records it from then on, no prompts.
- Missed cycles catch up next time you open the app, each on its own real date.
- Auto-recorded entries are marked in history, and edit or delete like anything you typed in.
- Pause, resume, or delete. Everything running lives in one list.
- Amounts hide under Privacy Mode; what’s scheduled and when stays readable.
- A payment stops itself once the goal is reached, and picks up again if you raise the target.
Also in this release
- A goal’s target date now shows on its card, beside the progress pill.
- Archive is offered on any goal, not only finished ones.
- Any check-in can be deleted, including the first and ones with notes.
- The full history sheet is now titled History.
Fixed
- Face ID lock now covers the whole app, not just the dashboard. If you use the lock, this is the reason to update.
- Amounts in euros read like every other currency — €12.4K, not 12,4 k €.
- A goal a month ahead of schedule says “1 month ahead”, not “1 months ahead”.

Privacy
Privacy Mode was already in Wrenn. This release made it something you can actually reach, read, and rely on.
- The Privacy Mode button sits in the same place on every screen that shows an amount — one tap from wherever you are.
- Hidden amounts show progress as a percentage, not a row of dots — readable in public without showing your numbers.
- Privacy Mode holds between launches; amounts stay hidden until you decide otherwise.
- Delete all data from Settings, behind a typed confirmation.
- Around the edges: goal tiles that respond to touch, Settings from the empty state, a fast long history, and screens that hold their shape at the largest text sizes.

First release
Wrenn as it was first built: goals you define, a check-in that takes three seconds, and an honest picture of the distance between here and there.
- Savings and debt payoff goals — a number, a name, and a date if you want one.
- A dashboard you arrange yourself, as a grid of goal tiles or a plain ledger.
- History, pace, and a projection that reads as an estimate rather than a target.
- Milestones acknowledged quietly, with no confetti.
- Privacy Mode, an optional Face ID lock, home-screen widgets, Spotlight, Handoff, and VoiceOver throughout.
- No account, no onboarding, no analytics. Your numbers stay on your device.
Further out
Version numbers get assigned when a release cuts, not promised in advance, so there’s nothing to list above until it’s built. The directions we’re building toward are on the home page, and a feature request is always welcome at support.
